A Texas jury found Black 19-year-old Karmelo Anthony guilty in the fatal stabbing of White 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison and will be eligible for parole after serving half his sentence. Since Anthony’s sentencing, both families have been subjected to harassment, doxing and even death threats. Despite his loss, Austin Metcalf’s father, Jeff Metcalf, joins “CUOMO” how he found the will to forgive Karmelo Anthony and how his loss can serve to help prevent similar tragedies.
