55:15Now PlayingEvery July, the most powerful men in America disappear into a secluded forest in Northern California — no cameras, no press and no public accountability. Some stories make headlines. Others get ignored. On “Unreported,” Meagan Medick takes a deeper look at the unexplained through the eyes and experiences of you, the viewers. You send the mystery, we investigate. In this episode, Meagan sits down with Sean Morrow, host, senior writer and producer at More Perfect Union. Morrow obtained the 2023 attendee list and traveled to the gates himself.
Together, they break down the 150-year-old club's evolution from a journalists' social circle into a gathering point for presidents, CEOs and Supreme Court justices. They trace how meetings there shaped the Manhattan Project, Reaganomics and Project 2025. They dig into a wealthy family's government-contracting empire, the "cremation of care" ritual myth versus reality and why the secrecy may be less about the occult and more about the deals being made in plain sight.
