The party has faced an uprising from socialists, which has even garnered the attention of President Donald Trump. O’Reilly also pointed out Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and how influential and dangerous he’s become for Democrats. “He is a full-fledged communist totalitarian,” the author said, highlighting Sanders’ speeches this past weekend talking about the Democratic Party controlling childcare.
O’Reilly stated Republicans need to utilize Sanders’ rhetoric when trying to reach voters but remained skeptical. “That’s their main issue now. Americans do not want a totalitarian, communist government. They don’t want it,” he said.
