This week, our "Missing" series is looking at the case of Keith Schmidt. The well-liked floor installer vanished from his North Dakota home in May 2024. Police shared never before seen footage to NewsNation showing what's believed to be the moments before the 53-year-old vanished. His truck, trailer and phone were all left behind. His family says this is completely out of character for Keith. Police conducted extensive searches around his home but haven't found any evidence to suggest foul play. Now, his family hopes someone who saw Keith around the time of his disappearance will come forward. Marni is joined by freelance journalist and professor Eric Grabowsky, who has spent countless hours looking into Keith's case.
Marni also looks into the disappearance of flight attendant Aiesha Griffin, who vanished in Philadelphia on July 24, 2026. The Detroit-based flight attendant has no history of mental health struggles, and police told NewsNation this is an open and active investigation. We also have an exclusive interview with the daughter of Maria Del Carmen Lopez. The mother was kidnapped in Mexico over three years ago and her daughter, Zoe, speaks about the tormenting phone calls her family received from kidnappers and the multiple suspects arrested in connection to her mother's kidnapping.
