2:34Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump signed a revised executive order on birthright citizenship after his first attempt from 2025 was struck down by a divided Supreme Court this year. The new order targets people coming to the U.S. solely for the purposes of having a child to obtain citizenship status and then leaving, known as "birth tourism." Critics say the underlying law from the Supreme Court decision still applies and expect this new order to be challenged in court.
