Bethlehem has been Jew-free since the 1834 Arab Revolt.

People keep saying, “Jesus would be harassed by Israel if he were born today.” That claim collapses the moment you apply basic history. Bethlehem is in the West Bank. Jews were expelled in 1949. Area A still bans Jewish presence. Which means the Nativity story itself wouldn’t even be possible under Arab rule — long before anyone brings up Israel. You don’t get to rewrite history to score political points.
