I Asked One Quran Question… and Everything Fell Apart

In this debate, I challenged a core Islamic claim: that Islam has existed since Adam. Once we got into the Quran itself, I pressed him on a simple question — who does the Quran say was the first Muslim? From there, we got into Quran contradictions, Muhammad being called the first Muslim, Abraham being called a Muslim, the corruption of previous scriptures, Uthman burning Quran manuscripts, and the bigger issue of retroactively claiming earlier biblical figures as “Muslim.”

Whether Islam can honestly be called the original religion from Adam

Even though I strongly disagreed with most of what he said, I’ll give him this: he stayed respectful, and that made for a much better conversation than most.
