He Said Elon Got RICH Off Taxpayers

I debate taxes, billionaires, Elon Musk and whether the richest Americans actually contribute their fair share.

We start by arguing over who pays America's taxes and what the top 1% and top 50% contribute. From there, the conversation shifts to billionaires, tax breaks and Elon Musk after my opponent says Elon barely worked for his money.

I challenge his claims about Elon's family wealth, government contracts, liquid cash versus net worth, SpaceX salaries and how many people Musk's companies employ. During the debate, he admits when one of his SpaceX salary claims is wrong, and later says he has been wrong about a lot of Elon Musk facts.

We also look at the claim that Musk made most of his money through government funding, discuss Starlink, Hyperloop, Jeff Bezos and Amazon, and argue over whether wealth should be judged by hours worked or by the value a person creates.

The conversation later shifts into Democratic Socialists, New York City policy, voter ID, ICE and a disputed shooting video. We compare the original footage with a Bellingcat analysis and argue over what the video actually shows, constitutional rights, police stops and the use of force.
