Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Health and Human Services and chairman of CHD's board, is listed as a lawyer on some of those cases.
Though CHD has lost many of them, law professor Dorit Reiss argues that litigation has helped the nonprofit get more attention. "They use the fact that they're using legal tools to give legitimacy to anti-vaccine claims," Reiss told NPR.
