Walmart says it has to raise prices — and the country’s largest retailer is pointing to President Trump’s tariffs as the culprit behind that decision.

Executives say about two-thirds of Walmart's goods sold in the U.S. are grown, made or assembled domestically. But the retailer still imports from dozens of other countries, especially electronics and toys from China. Speaking to investors after releasing the company's quarterly earnings reports Thursday, CEO Doug McMillon said his company will work to protect food prices as much as possible.
