Even though President Biden insisted he was capable of serving and winning a second term, his inner circle went to great lengths to hide that he wasn't.

That's according to a new book by CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios' Alex Thompson, which chronicles what they report was Biden's cognitive decline and the efforts to keep that hidden from voters.

"He still thinks he could have won," Jake Tapper told All Things Considered host Scott Detrow.
