as posted by the channelAccording to a new poll from the health research group KFF, most adults in the U.S. don’t plan to get another COVID-19 shot this fall, and many are confused about new federal vaccine policies.
More than 1,200 adults were surveyed in July; 59% said they do not expect to get a COVID vaccine this fall. Older adults and Democrats were most likely to say they want another shot. Most Republicans say they don’t. Many parents also said they’re confused about whether the vaccines are still recommended for children.
The Trump administration has narrowed who’s eligible for the shots — to people age 65 and older and younger people with other health problems. Federal officials recommend that parents should talk to their doctors before vaccinating their kids.
