YouTube Description
as posted by the channel“Ultimately, they’re being betrayed” — Andy Beshear is a Democrat who won two terms as governor of the red state of Kentucky. He is arguing that Democrats can regain rural voters who have turned against the party overwhelmingly in recent years. He says President Trump’s economic policies will give rural voters a powerful reason to switch.
Beshear will chair the Democratic Governors’ Association in 2026, and hopes to help his party gain seats. He is considering a run for president in 2028. And he spoke with NPR’s Steve Inskeep about his party’s prospects.
