After Minnesota's Democratic Gov. Tim Walz referred to ICE agents as “Trump’s modern-day Gestapo,” U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote a letter criticizing Walz for his rhetoric, accusing state leaders of not doing enough to “support the men and women who are risking their lives and uphold the rule of law.”

In an interview with NPR’s "All Things Considered," Walz said that he stands by his words and contended that he has to describe what he’s seeing.
