In a video posted to social media Wednesday, Hegseth says the program is intended to help troops perform at their “absolute best.” He said the screenings will be conducted annually part of required medical tests for those 30 and older. Troops under 30 will be able to request the testing voluntarily.
The move comes as other Trump administration officials push for broader access to testosterone replacement therapy, though some of their claims go beyond what current research has established.
