YouTube Description
as posted by the channelHere is an example of how the use of the CUDA architecture is transforming the look of consumer entertainment and gaming. This was first released in July 2008. This entire game has more REAL action and energy than any other action game because of the huge increase in interaction enabled by the CUDA architecture. CUDA also makes new real-time interaction possible which was hitherto impossible. The air is alive with swirling leaves and debris, the wind bends the palms and rips through their fronds, the player can shoot at any object such as the trees and even the coconuts in the trees and they react accordingly. Notable new game play which CUDA makes possible are the vivid, environmentally shattering explosions, the detailed architectural collapse of the watchtowers that can be demolished piece by piece or in their entirety with a skilfully thrown grenade, the ripping apart of tarp covers of the hutments. The speed-up of these simulations running on CUDA enabled GPUS versus running on a high-end CPU is between 5X to 10X.
