The Open Genomics Engine is an open source software platform designed to streamline the computational analysis of human DNA, enabling researchers to better understand different forms of cancer and develop more targeted treatments. Developed by Virginia Tech and Virginia Bioinformatics Institute, and funded by the NVIDIA Foundation's Compute the Cure initiative, OpenGE makes it easier for genomics researchers to evaluate large data sets and pinpoint DNA mutations that cause cancer.
