as posted by the channel

Heat Recovery Steam Generators, or HRSGs, are complex systems that convert the hot gas out a combustion turbine into steam, which then drives a steam turbine to generate electricity. HRSG corrosion is a multi-physics problem with a combination of flow characteristics, water chemistry, and operating conditions.

Using NVIDIA Omniverse, we’ve trained high fidelity, physics-based, neural network models, and created a sophisticated digital twin platform with Siemens Energy. By accurately and efficiently predicting corrosion proactively via a digital twin, Siemens Energy estimates huge financial and time savings by reducing inspections, and downtime due to repairs.
