YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA ruler of the synagogue came and worshiped Jesus. While most of the religious elite rejected Christ, here is one who believed—his faith standing in judgment over all the other Pharisees' unbelief. This religious ruler did not send a servant—he came himself. No title or position exempts a man from kneeling before the Lord of glory. What drove him to Christ was the death of his twelve-year-old daughter. In the face of loss, he sought the only One who holds power over life and death. Affliction, though painful, is often the very means by which God draws us to himself. In our sorrow, we must not be paralyzed with despair, but press further in to Christ and worship.
