1:15Now PlayingIt’s almost the 4th of July and New York is home to close 50 THOUSAND Active Duty and Reserve Service Members! With so many veterans in this state, the Senate passed a number of bills this last legislative session that will make sure our military members have both financial and emotional support.
~ Veterans with Disabilities Employment Program (Senate Bill. 3300)This bill passed both houses and will require state agencies to make sure jobs specifically laid aside for disabled veterans, are more prominently displayed for people to apply.
~ Budget Bill signed into law by Governor: An additional $450,000 is being directed to Veterans Mental Health Initiatives.
