YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Stark blue and almost perfectly round, blue holes have been described

as “pupils in the sea.” Because the technology required to explore a blue hole wasn't even developed until a few decades ago, all sorts of ideas abounded about what was down there.

In 2018, OceanX became the first team since Jacques Cousteau to voyage to the bottom of Belize's Great Blue Hole—considered one of the best diving sites in the world—and bring back some footage of this incredible "underwater cathedral."
