Sofia Frappi is a PhD student specializing in elasmobranch conservation at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.

She's been aboard our research vessel, the OceanXplorer, in the Red Sea as we partake in the Red Sea Decade Expedition in partnership with the National Center for Wildlife (NCW). Sofia will be discussing eDNA with a special emphasis on elasmobranchs.
