YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Whale sharks are the biggest fish in the ocean, growing to over 40 feet long. They might be giants, but they eat tiny foods-- plankton and small fish.

On our 2022 Red Sea expedition, we conducted aerial habitat surveys, looking for megafauna--animals like sharks, whales, dolphins, dugongs and whale sharks. The goal of the surveys was to understand wildlife populations, and use that data to design effective conservation programs.
