McCabe that the pro-life movement cannot trust the Republican Party to keep its promises after the GOP pulled an anti-abortion bill from the House floor the night before the 2015 March for Life in Washington. The bill would have banned abortions after the point when a baby in the womb can feel pain. That setback forced the pro-life movement to get stronger without the help of the Republican Party, she said.
