President Trump signed an executive order restoring the English language requirement for commercial drivers, effective June 25th, 2025. Several states — California, Washington, and New Mexico — are refusing to comply, prompting Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy to warn they could lose federal funding.
After the crash, Jay Collins flew to California, secured extradition with U.S. Marshals, and brought the driver back to face justice in Florida. Collins also shares insights on working with Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida’s approach to immigration, energy, and property tax reform, and his perspective on leadership.
