as posted by the channel

The U.S. economy added 172,000 jobs in May, nearly double what economists expected. The unemployment rate held steady at 4.3%, and job openings climbed to their highest level in nearly a year. But despite those strong labor market numbers, many Americans continue to feel financially squeezed as inflation outpaces wage growth and consumer sentiment remains near record lows. Some analysts now say the stronger-than-expected jobs report could reduce the chances of a Federal Reserve rate cut and even raise the possibility of another rate hike if inflation remains stubbornly high. Joining OAN's Alicia Summers to discuss is Ted Thatcher, President of Bright Lake Wealth Management.
