63-year-old Rex Heuermann was sentenced Wednesday in a New York courtroom to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders of eight women between 1993 and 2010. Prosecutors say Heuermann, a Rhode Island architect, targeted primarily young female sex workers and disposed of their remains along the coast.
