2:11Now PlayingThe U.S. Department of Justice announced charges against eight alleged members of the Tren de Aragua gang in connection with two separate kidnapping and murder cases in Texas and Illinois.
According to officials, four suspects are accused in a Dallas case involving the killing of a father and the kidnapping of two children, while three others face charges in Chicago for an alleged kidnapping and fatal shooting. The DOJ says all of the defendants entered the U.S. illegally between 2021 and 2024.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche says the Justice Department will continue aggressively pursuing violent transnational criminal organizations and bringing those responsible to justice.
