2:11Now PlayingMore than three decades after the kidnapping and murder of 21-year-old Tammy Zuki, the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible.
Zuki was last seen on August 23, 1992, in central Illinois while traveling to college in Iowa. Her 1985 white Pontiac was found abandoned the following day after reportedly breaking down. Her body was discovered on September 1 along an interstate in rural Lawrence, Missouri.
Investigators believe an unknown semi-truck driver may have been responsible and have identified Teresa Balinsky, a known hitchhiker who died in 2014, as a person of interest who may have traveled with the unidentified trucker. Authorities stress that Balinsky is not a suspect.
