as posted by the channelOur guest for this week is CMsgt Adam Vizi a TACP by trade with tons of experience who has risen to one of the highest positions an enlisted Air Force member can get and it is no mystery why. In this episode, the Chief talks to us about his background and what made him successful and made him stand out as a leader.
Chief Vizi came into the Air Force prior to 9/11 and was a TACP instructor when the twin towers were hit. We discuss what it was like to transition both his and the students' mindset from being in peacetime to being at war and how that impacted the way we do business as a force. Additionally, we discuss what characteristics were required of a candidate both when he was a student vs what is expected now and what you should be doing to prep for the pipeline and selection
We also discuss the massive span of responsibility the Chief has (which includes AFSW selection) and what changes may be coming in the future for AFSW selection.
Lastly, we will discuss how Peach and Vizi selected candidates from the weapons school and what the weapons school actually was as well as how big of an impact this has on the Airforces ability to train strategically decisive and effective leaders
