In my most recent episode, "Exclusivity is expensive," I discuss two commonly-misunderstood relationship concepts: commitment and exclusivity. They are not the same thing. It's like squares and rectangles: all exclusivity is committed, but not all commitment is exclusive. To illustrate this difference, I speak on how these principles operate in a professional context, as they are often easier to understand when divested of their emotion. The main difference is the exorbitant value differential between the two.
