0:36Now PlayingClay Travis said the UCF Knights do not belong in the conversation for the college football playoff. Clay Travis said UCF -- even with injured UCF qb McKenzie Milton -- would be a mediocre 8-4 team if UCF played in the SEC.
The University of Central Florida (UCF) will play against LSU in the Fiesta Bowl on January 1. The UCF Knights will be without UCF QB McKenzie Milton who was injured. UCF Coach Josh Heupel will play UCF quarterback backup Darriel Mack instead of UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton who suffered a season ending injury.
Clay Travis went on to say about UCF coach Josh Heupel and the UCF Knights, "Stop talking about UCF. All due respect to UCF, they're not good. UCF is an 8 - 4, 9 - 3 football team if they played in the SEC. I'm not sure they would be 8 - 4.
"I think Missouri, who went 8 - 4 in the SEC, I think Missouri would run UCF off the field. I don't think it would be a close game. I think Missouri would win the game by 20 points.
"It's not in any way remotely interesting that UCF should be in the running. They aren't. They would get crushed. Stop with the UCF talk."
The NCAA football college football playoffs are set to begin on Saturday, December 16. The UCF vs LSU game will start at 1pm Eastern on New Year's Day in the Fiesta Bowl. Darriel Mack will start as QB for UCF.
