The 2018 Heisman trophy was awarded on Saturday and Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray came in first place followed by Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and then Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins.
Nonetheless, Clay Travis congratulated Kyler Murray for winning the Heisman Trophy and said that Tua Tagovailoa and the Alabama football team will destroy Kyler Murray and the Oklahoma football team in the first round of the college football playoffs.
Alabama and Oklahoma play in the college football playoffs on December 29. The Alabama Crimson Tide are 13.5-point favorites against the Oklahoma Sooners in the College Football Playoff semifinals.
The Oklahoma-Alabama over/under of 79 is the highest in the five-year history of the College Football Playoff.
As Clay Travis wrote on his website Outkick the Coverage, "Oklahoma/Alabama-14, 79: Alabama opened -13.5 and has reached 14 at some shops. Figuring out the health of Crimson Tide QB Tua Tagovailoa is imperative here."
