YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThis is today's full Outkick the Show program for December 18, 2018. Clay Travis discusses the Big 10 commissioner's endorsement of the 8-team college football playoff, why Georgia football quarterback Justin Fields' transfer to another school because Jake Fromm will be playing again in 2019 is a bad decision, what is wrong with Cam Newton, and 'Fresh Prince' star Alfonso Ribeiro is suing Fortnite and NBA 2k for use of the Carlton dance from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Clay Travis said the 8-team college football playoff is a good idea and has always advocated for it. Clay Travis said on both Outkick the Show and Outkick the Coverage (his radio) show that the sooner the 8-team college football playoff is installed, the better. Clay Travis discussed the 8 team playoff at length.
When discussing Georgia quarterback Justin Field's transfer from Georgia football, Clay Travis said it was a shortsighted decision as Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm only has one year to go and then Justin Fields could play as the starting quarterback for Georgia for one, two, or even three years. Clay Travis emphasized that a Justin Fields' transfer was not a good idea and a bad precedent. Jake Fromm has said he will play one more year. Clay Travis said Jake Fromm is likely a first round draft pick if he has a solid year.
When discussing the Saints vs Panthers game, Clay Travis questioned the health of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton because of last night's Saints vs Panthers game and the overall freefall the Panthers have taken in the last few games. Clay Travis said Panthers coach Ron Rivera should be fired if he Cam Newton is playing injured not only in last night's Saints vs Panthers game but the overall season. There has been a lot of talk about a Cam Newton injury. Clay Travis further said that Cam Newton is going to have to improve as a passer if he is to be a quality quarterback. Right now, Clay Travis said Cam Newton is overrated and overpaid. But some of this could be due to Cam Newton's injury if there is one.
Lastly, Clay Travis discussed the legal merits of Alfonso Ribeiro's lawsuit against Fortnite and NBA 2k for their usage of the Carlton dance from Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Clay Travis explained that Alfonso Ribeiro's lawsuit will probably not be successful as the Carlton dance from Fresh Prince of Bel Air probably cannot be trademarked. Outkick the Show is broadcasted daily on YouTube. Outkick the Coverage is heard daily on Fox Radio.
There is a lot of coverage of Alfonso Ribeiro sues Fortnite and you can Google the Alfonso Ribeiro dance to see it if you don't remember it.
