Clay Travis: LeBron Lakers mess, Martina Navratilova, Iowa radio announcer King Kong

On Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the ongoing disaster in Los Angeles with LeBron James and the Lakers of the NBA. Said Travis, the Lakers should trade LeBron James for Anthony Davis. The Lakers are on a runaway train for disaster toward destruction with LeBron James as their conductor. The Lakers have suffered three consecutive road losses, and are in 11th place. In the 4th quarter, LeBron James decided not to play defense, allowing the Memphis player to shoot a three pointer, then immediately got upset at his teammates. The atmosphere in the Lakers locker room is toxic, said Travis.

Also, LeBron James decided to allow a date and time-stamped video to surface of him drinking and hanging out with a rapper named "2 Chainz" the night before a game against the world champion Golden State Warriors, where he opted not to play according to his principle of “load management.” Said Travis, LeBron wants Luke Walton fired, his teammates don’t like him, he doesn’t like them, and LeBron is completely sabotaging his legacy.

On the transgender athlete front, Clay Travis discussed the recent NBC news article which focused on how men who are changing genders are superior athletes and have an unfair advantage over the women against whom they are competing. According to Clay Travis, men have penises and women have vaginas. They are inherently different, said Travis. The article mentioned how Martina Navratilova called the trans-related practice cheating, and was then chastised for her comments. It is biological fact that men and women are different, said Travis.

Also, on the insane front, Clay Travis shared the recent story about Gary Dolphin, a radio announcer from Iowa, who has been suspended for the rest of the season for saying a 6’11” black basketball player “played like King Kong out on the court” during his postgame comments. Clay Travis read Dolphin’s prepared statement and commented on how ludicrous it is to force Dolphin to admit his guilt and confess he has “an unconscious bias.” There should be no outrage surrounding this case, reasoned Travis. The outrage should be how nauseating the perpetually offended culture is in America.

Finally, Clay Travis shared an update on New England Patriots' owner Robert Kraft prostitution situation and talked about the apparent discrepancy between how a woman in America has the choice to abort her baby, but she can’t decide to prostitute herself. Clay likened prostitution to prohibition. Prohibition didn’t work when alcohol was sold on the (unregulated) black market. People died as a result because of unregulated stills that produced deadly alcohol. If prostitution is made legal, the services can be regulated and many of the problems might go away, surmised Travis.
