20:44Now PlayingOn Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed Antonio Brown’s move to the Raiders in the recent trade agreement between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Oakland Raiders in the NFL. He also said Daylight Saving Time should be eliminated and announced his top eight NCAA basketball seeds for March Madness.
Clay pointed out how Antonio Brown was the clear winner in the acquisition, earning a significant raise on the remaining three years of his contract to the tune of $30.125 million guaranteed on a deal worth $50.125 million that can jump to $54.125 million with incentives. The Raiders are also winners in the deal, with their first 1,200 yard receiver under contract since Jerry Rice. Clay Travis also mentioned that the Raiders are in a better position with in the upcoming draft. The Pittsburgh Steelers, on the other hand, are on the losing end, said Travis, by losing draft picks and losing Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown.
Clay Travis continued by announcing his current list top 8 NCAA basketball seeds as March Madness draws near.
Clay’s #1 seeds:
Virginia
Gonzaga
UNC
Kentucky
Clay’s #2 seeds:
Tennessee
Michigan State
LSU
Duke
Clay Travis talked about Will Wade and the debacle at LSU. As Clay predicted, Will Wade was suspended and he believes Wade will not return at LSU and will likely not return to coach in college basketball.
Clay also talked about college basketball star Zion Williamson and his prediction that Zion would not return this season for the Duke Blue Devils. Clay believes Zion will not play in the ACC tournament as well. It appears, said Clay, that Coach K is doing what he can to keep it open-ended with hopes that the selection committee will give them a number one seed with Zion’s uncertainty still in play.
Finally, Clay Travis bemoaned the existence of the Daylight Saving Time changes twice each year and believes it is nonsensical and needs to end. Federal legislation needs to be passed and daylight needs to occur at the end of the day, rather than in the early morning hours.
Clay Travis hates Daylight Saving Time.
