Clay Travis also commented on the turnaround for Jeremy Pruitt and the Tennessee Volunteers, who have won 5 of 6 after an abysmal start. Maybe the most impressive statistic for the year’s season is Tennessee’s 4 SEC victories as an underdog, according to Travis.
Clay Travis then commented on the failed deal between Greg Schiano and Rutgers. Clay’s take on the matter is Schiano got a little too greedy in the contract negotiation and Rutgers decided to walk.
Clay Travis went on to break down the Dallas Cowboys loss to the New England Patriots and questioned Jason Garrett’s play-calling as part of the problem. Clay also addressed the highly publicized tripping call.
Clay Travis also talked through Aaron Rodger’s dismal performance in the Green Bay Packers’ loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
Clay Travis hesitated to get on board with his Tennessee Titans in the next segment — in spite of their impressive winning streak — because of their history of letting him down. Clay praised Derrick Henry’s dominant performance in their win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, highlighting his 21 mph 74-yard run that places him in an elite class of running backs in the history of the NFL.
Finally, Clay Travis shared his opinion on the playoff picture for the NFL and identified the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers as the best teams in the NFL. Tonight’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens should reveal a lot about each team, added Travis, and is a must-win for the Rams.
