On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis opened with the college football playoffs and his gambling picks for the LSU-OU and Clemson-OSU matchups on Saturday. Clay likes a big win for LSU over Oklahoma as well as the under, and Clemson to win against Ohio State as well as the over.

Clay Travis went on to discuss the NFL playoff picture, where he focused on the Titans-Texans game on Sunday. The injuries are piling up for the Houston Texans and many players are questionable, with many of their roster decisions dependent upon on the outcome of the upcoming Kansas City Chiefs game against the LA Chargers.

Clay Travis also shared his thoughts on the Steelers and the Raiders, where he sees little hope of either team advancing in the AFC playoffs.

Clay Travis continued by looking at the playoff picture in the NFC, commenting on the Eagles, 49ers, Seahawks, Giants, and Cowboys.

Clay Travis then commented on the report that WR Antonio Brown could potentially sign with the New Orleans Saints. Clay believes it would be a strong move for the Saints to sign AB as his talent supersedes his problems. One of the questions, however, is whether or not the NFL will approve of the deal as Brown is currently under an investigation.

Clay Travis’ take on the NBA was next on the slate, with Clay discussing why their ratings have continued to tank while the NFL, NHL, MLB and college football are either surging or maintaining their television ratings even with the effects of cord-cutting. Clay believes the NBA’s weak position on the China situation is the main reason why the league is in ratings trouble.

Clay Travis went on to share the ongoing struggles in Miami, with the U falling apart in their shutout against Louisiana Tech. OC Dan Enos was fired after the game, said Travis, and The U is most definitely not back.

Finally, Clay Travis concluded by praising the Nashville and other surrounding police departments on their capture of the murderer Michael Mosley. Travis will contribute $10K to the cause, either to the local police departments or the person(s) who provided any tips leading to the arrest.
