On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis commented on the omnipresent dysfunction in Cleveland, with the Browns ownership deciding to fire their head coach and their GM since the season ended on Sunday. The atmosphere is so bad that Baylor head coach said he has no interest in even interviewing for the position, said Travis.

Clay Travis then gave props to Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen for his successful first two years at the helm in Gainesville. Clay also wondered if Dan Mullen might be the best option for the Dallas Cowboys given his relationship with Dak Prescott while both of them were at Mississippi State.

Clay Travis also shared the current status of the Dallas Cowboys organization, with Jason Garrett’s head coaching job still an uncertainty. Clay acknowledged Jerry Jones’ brilliant business mind that has been great for the NFL and for the Cowboys as a business, but their on-the-field performance has been much less impressive.

Clay Travis then shared his final NFL top 5/bottom 5 of the season following week 17:

1. Baltimore Ravens

2. San Francisco 49ers

3. New Orleans Saints

4. Kansas City Chiefs

5. Seattle Seahawks

28. Carolina Panthers

29. Detroit Lions

30. New York Giants

31. Washington Redskins

32. Cincinnati Bengals

Finally, Clay Travis shared the NBA’s ongoing ratings problem with the Wall Street Journal reporting that ratings have dropped a massive 26% in the last two years. Clay likened the situation to a Jenga tower, with their left-wing decisions and attitudes systematically knocking down the tower of the basketball loving “meat and potatoes of their audience” over the years. Yet the other major sports — who are much less political — have all seen their ratings numbers grow substantially, according to Travis.
