Clay Travis went on to crown Patrick Mahomes, the 24-year old Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback, as the new face of the NFL after his Super Bowl win and Super Bowl MVP trophy. Clay also considered Mahomes’ future with the Chiefs when considering what he is now worth after the game.
Clay Travis also discussed what the Super Bowl win has done and will do for Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid and his career. It is Clay’s opinion that Reid will win multiple Super Bowl’s in the future.
Clay Travis shared what the Super Bowl loss exposed in San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. “He’s just an okay quarterback,” said Travis.
Clay Travis continued his breakdown of the Super Bowl by speaking in particular about Kyle Shanahan and his approach to game management in the first half.
Clay Travis went on to offer a commentary of the Super Bowl halftime show featuring Shakira and JLo. Clay thought the entire show was excellent, tweeting “God Bless the USA” following their performance.
Clay Travis dubbed the Super Bowl ‘the anti-woke Super Bowl” because of the way Fox Sports boldly included Americana throughout the broadcast. More people watched this year’s Super Bowl than voted in the 2016 presidential election, added Travis.
Finally, Clay Travis commented on today’s Iowa caucus and predicts that Bernie Sanders will emerge as the winner. Clay believes the most effective candidate the Democrats could nominate to contend with President Trump in the 2020 election would be Joe Biden, while the least effective would be Bernie Sanders.
