Coronavirus, Cali vs Florida on sports, OBJ, PGA, Fauci on sports

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis commented on the positive progress on the worldwide coronavirus front. With deaths on the decline, Clay believes the United States should largely be back to work by May 4th.

Clay Travis then discussed the contrast between the way California and Florida have handled the coronavirus. While California chooses to live in the fetal position with regard to sports, Florida is open for business and has approached Dana White and the UFC as well as the PGA to resume their sports in their state.

Clay Travis also shared that Odell Beckham Jr is now on the trade block as he reportedly wants out of Cleveland. Rumors are the Browns wants OBJ out of Cleveland as well. Clay wondered if OBJ will become a good teammate and a responsible member of his next team or hop on the Antonio Brown crazy train to unemployment.

Clay Travis went on to praise the PGA for getting golf back in action in June.

Clay Travis shared that Dr. Fauci has come out in favor of preparing for the return of sports without fans. This, said Travis, should move every sports league to get a return plan ready to go in May so sports can be back in action by June.

Finally, Clay Travis shared that Major League Baseball is prepared to conduct a randomized trial for players in the league. This, said Travis, is a great move for the league and will also to aid in efforts to better understand the coronavirus.
