YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared the most recent positive news on the coronavirus front.
Clay Travis also discussed the “controversy” surrounding Drew Brees and his comments about standing during the national anthem. “Think about where we are as a nation. Drew Brees is now a pariah for saying he stands during the national anthem to honor his grandfathers who fought Nazis in WWII. How can this possibly be controversial?”
Clay Travis went on to address LeBron James’s criticism of Drew Brees. “LeBron James teed off on Drew Brees and his non-controversial comments 20 minutes after he said them, yet he still hasn’t said a word about China shutting down Hong Kong’s protestors. LeBron sells faux-wokism to America while making decisions based solely on money.”
Clay Travis also shared his opinion on the ridiculous trend in the United States where athletes and their political positions are important to some. Said Travis, “I look for sports to entertain me and I don’t care about the politics of anyone who is playing a sport. I don’t begrudge anyone having the right to an opinion, but the idea of treating athletes as if they are something other than celebrities is insane.”
Clay Travis continued by commenting on the return of the NBA to Disney World. Said Travis, “The NBA is coming back on July 31st at Walt Disney World. Fans will be able to ride Space Mountain but they won’t be able to watch a game in person. This doesn’t make any sense at all.”
Clay Travis then praised Texas for opening stadiums up to 50% attendance.
Clay Travis went on to talk about the return of the NHL, yet slammed MLB for not getting their act together.
