SEC players back on campus, MLB return mess, UFC fight island, Kap back to NFL?

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared more underreported good news on the coronavirus front.

Clay Travis then shared his thoughts on the return of SEC football players to campus this week in spite of hopes on the contrary from the coronabros. “College football players have officially returned to campus in the SEC. It is clear we will have college football this year, it is fantastic news, and I am looking forward to watching it.”

Clay Travis then commented on MLB and their struggle to get back on the field. Clay referred to their stalemate as “one of the all time failures in sports” and went on to say: “MLB players think everyone hates what the owners are doing and the owners think everyone hates what the players are doing. What the nation sees is millionaires and billionaires unable to agree to terms to get a game started again.”

Clay Travis continued by praising Dana White and his successful “Fight Island.” “Dana White has not only managed to get the UFC back, but he has gotten it back on an international scale. Fight Island is now a reality, it looks absolutely incredible, and Dana White deserves a ton of credit for taking control of the situation and getting it done.”

Finally, Clay Travis shared his thoughts on a potential return to the sidelines for Colin Kaepernick: “I think an NFL team like Seattle should offer Colin Kaepernick a backup contract, but I think he would turn it down. He knows as soon as he signs a contract and stands on the sideline all of his martyrdom will be over.”
