YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared his thoughts on cancel culture and its latest casualty: Florida’s gator bait chant. Said Travis, “Cancel culture thrives on the cowardice of leadership. The president of the University of Florida is terrified that if he stands up to these loser students and activists he will be canceled. I say keep your gator bait chant going. Refuse to allow them to ban it.”
Clay Travis continued by commenting on the exciting non-conference college football games that will be coming in the years to come. Said Travis, “In 2027, Alabama will play at Ohio State and in 2028, Alabama will be hosting Ohio State. This is a long time away, granted, but it is good news. These non-conference football games should be outstanding.”
Clay Travis went on to share his thoughts on the ever-waffling Dr. Fauci, including this: “I respect Dr. Fauci for all the good work he has done to fight HIV and AIDS, and I appreciate all he has done to fight the coronavirus. But now it appears he will say whatever it takes to get attention and I can’t trust his opinions anymore.”
Clay Travis then commented on MLB and their struggle to come to an agreement on how to move forward with what’s left of the 2020 season. Said Travis, “MLB owners have requested 60 games, and the players shot back requesting 70 games. Can we just agree on 65 games and get to Spring Training part 2? This process has gone on for far too long.”
Finally, Clay Travis mentioned his radio conversation with Florida Senator Marco Rubio. Rubio introduced legislation today and took the opportunity to speak to Clay’s audience on Fox Sports Radio to share his thoughts behind it. “Sen. Marco Rubio came on the show this morning to discuss a bill he introduced that would govern how college players can make money off their name, image, and likeness. It would be a mess not to have a national law here, so it's an important bill and the right bill,” said Travis.
