Clay Travis then shared his thoughts on the Bubba Wallace/NASCAR incident involving a garage rope. NASCAR’s decision to jump ahead of the investigation has resulted in egg on their face as the alleged “noose” was nothing other than a pull-down rope that has been in that particular garage since 2019 or earlier. Said Travis, “NASCAR overreacted in their statement and it is not, in any way, remotely defensible. They created this whole mess. Everyone is so afraid of the woke mob they are bending the knee before they even get the facts of a case.”
Clay Travis continued by commenting on the banned “gator bait” chant at the University of Florida. The originator of the chant is a former Florida Gator named Lawrence Wright who is asking the school to reconsider cancelling the cheer.
Clay Travis went on to discuss his excitement about the Mike Leach/Lane Kiffin rivalry, with a recent mask-snapping incident taking place during a visit to Mississippi’s capital.
Clay Travis also shared his thoughts on Amazon’s naming rights of a new stadium in Seattle. “Amazon, the company with more vans than any company in the world, has named a new arena in downtown Seattle, ‘Climate Pledge Arena.’ This will be interesting as I’m not sure they’ve gotten the requisite approval of the leaders of the autonomous country of CHAZ,” said Travis.
Clay Travis then commented on Chuck E. Cheese filing for bankruptcy. It is Clay’s hope someone will rescue the struggling pizza giant. Said Travis, “Chuck E. Cheese has filed for bankruptcy. This is a brutal moment for American families across the country and I hope someone can rescue them. If Chuck E. Cheese is gone forever the world is a sadder place.”
Clay Travis’s take on the Kentucky Derby was next, praising the decision to allow fans to be present in this year’s race.
Clay Travis continued by sharing his thoughts on former NFL QB Jay Cutler’s chicken problem at his home in Tennessee. “Jay Cutler has a serial killer animal killing his chickens at his farm in Tennessee. I’m not sure who the killer is, but I would definitely watch a show where Jay Cutler investigates a serial killing animal hunting down his chickens.”
Clay Travis concluded by commenting on an unfortunate leach incident that took place in Cambodia.
