Clay Travis then shared his thoughts on last night’s return of Major League Baseball. Clay pointed out that MLB, as well as the other sports, are choosing to please Twitter instead of their fans. And this choice will result in fewer fans and falling ratings.
Clay Travis then commented on Dr. Fauci’s brutal opening pitch. “It’s really disappointing that Dr. Fauci and 50 Cent now have something in common, in that they have joined the infamy of the awful first pitch hall of fame. My advice: If you can’t throw a baseball, don’t accept the offer to throw the first pitch of the game.”
Clay Travis also discussed the contradictory coronavirus tests taken by Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals. Clay believes false positives will continue.
Clay Travis went on to comment on the CDC and their recommendations to send kids back to school. Clay wondered why those who listening to scientists is the answer when it comes to issues like climate change, but it is not popular when it comes to sending kids to school. “Why do people say to listen to scientists when it comes to climate change but they don’t listen to the scientists when they say kids should be back in school? The CDC and 67K pediatricians are saying kids should be in school. Trust the data. And the facts.”
Clay Travis continued by crediting Buffalo, New York for accepting the Toronto Blue Jays for the 2020 season after the Canadian government banned baseball because of the coronavirus.
Clay Travis also commented on Mookie Betts’ decision to “take a knee” and Sam Coonrod’s statement to only kneel to God. “Has taking a knee jumped the shark? I think it has. When the highest paid player in MLB is taking a knee, it is no longer rebellious.”
Clay Travis then announced Monday’s return of Lock It In on FS1.
Clay Travis concluded by sharing the NFL’s official decision to return to the field in 2020, much to the chagrin of the ever-miserable Coronabros. This decision, said Travis, bodes well for college football.
