It seems that the University of Michigan and their head football coach, Jim Harbaugh, are in the process of negotiating a five-year contract extension worth $55 million. This comes after a period of upheaval, including an NCAA investigation into the team for illegal sign-stealing, a Big Ten championship, and a College Football Playoff berth. However, before finalizing the deal, the university wants Harbaugh to commit in writing that he will not pursue a job in the NFL during the term of the new contract. This request is due to Harbaugh's history of exploring NFL opportunities while under contract with Michigan
