7:54Now PlayingA year ago, The Sun newspaper published a far right conspiracy theory partly sourced from neo-Nazi websites. I was amongst those named, along with left-wing writers such as Ash Sarkar and Ellie Mae O'Hagan.
The Sun just quietly took the piece down, and the author, Tom Newton Dunn, has not only refused to apologise or explain - he's blocked all of us who challenged him.
But this is serious. The far right are a growing danger: they've beaten people up - me included - and killed. The mainstream media legitimising them threatens people's safety and even their lives. The fact there's been no outrage shows how much of the British media works - where powerful media figures can get away with anything without consequences.
That has to change.
