About Sir Tim Rice: An Academy Award, Golden Globe, Tony, and Grammy winning lyricist responsible for some of the most iconic musical stage and film productions of all time, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita and The Lion King. Sir Tim is best known for his collaborations with Andrew Lloyd-Webber which have become permanent fixtures on stages around the world and are loved by millions across the generations. He was knighted in 1994 for services to music and continues to be a vocal advocate of the power of the musical.
