100 years on from the first British women being granted the vote, those campaigners who broke the law in the pursuit of justice are still marked as criminals. Whilst the convictions of Alan Turing and soldiers court-martialed for cowardice in World War One have since have been overturned, there has been no such reprieve for the suffragettes. Indeed, what barriers still remain to the full and equal participation of women in British politics?
Amber Rudd MP, Dr Helen Pankhurst and Dr Fern Riddell are the panelists.
